What we liked
- + IP67 rating, which the listing describes as withstanding full submersion in water for up to 30 minutes
- + Lock mode stops the lamp switching on inside a pack, and the red night-vision setting keeps glare down at a shared belay or camp
- + Compact, low-profile body with an adjustable headband, at a mid-range price for a rechargeable lamp from a climbing brand
Trade-offs
- - 400 lumens trails the 500 to 650 lumen name-brand lamps in this guide when you need to light a long descent gully
- - Micro-USB charging and a 1500 mAh integrated battery mean a dedicated cable and no option to swap in spare cells
