What we liked
- + Seven modes with Smart Dimming plus red and green night-vision LEDs, more control than most lamps at this price
- + Rechargeable, with the micro-USB cable included, from a long-established battery and lighting brand
- + Pivoting head and a shatterproof lens that the listing rates as impact resistant up to 1 meter
Trade-offs
- - IPX4 covers splashes and rain only, a lower rating than the IP67 Black Diamond lamps in this guide
- - The listing gives no runtime, battery capacity or weight figures, so treat it as a backup light, not the main lamp for a long descent
